Dennis Bank's Longest Walk to raise diabetes awareness will reach Helena on March 11, 2011, a Round Dance at the Helena Indian Alliance, Armory Bldg, will be the site of the event. Dennis Banks is an Anishinabe and long time recognized leader of American Indian efforts of aboriginal survival. He is a current entrepreneur offering healthful, value added traditional foods.

The 3rd Annual Anishinabe Ojibwe Unity Walk will be held May 7, 2011 in Great Falls and will take place as it has in the past by the ceremonial observation of Hill 57 and the continued fight for federal recognition for the Anishinabe (Chippewa) people who have called Great Falls home for a century.
